Small Sedimentary Drinking Cups

Beautifully handcrafted from recycled clay, these Small Sedimentary Drinking Glasses will add an exquisite element to your table. Each glass is unique, with beautiful marbling from the sedimentary collection. They hold 8 to 10 oz, making them perfect for drinks, cocktails, or other uses.

The Sedimentary Collection was a challenging experiment for me. I had lots of odd ball pieces of leftover clay from various projects, and I do not throw away clay. But what to do with so many different colors? I decided to create a large block of clay by stacking all of the leftovers. This is basically a Nerikomi style, but there was little intention when stacking the clay. I intend to write a blog telling and showing the process. It really is cool to see the different clay types layered. There's porcelain, groggy stoneware of different colors, and smooth stoneware, so you feel different textures while holding the products.

These cups are so eye-catching! Each one is so unique, and very in measurements by about 1/4 inch.
