Meet the Artist

Hello! My name is Eutyhia, which means "Happiness" in Greek; thus, Happiness Pottery. I am a first-generation Greek American. I've had many labels, my favorites are mother, friend, partner, daughter, aunt, student, animal lover, travel enthusiast, and sun seeker. I'll take a beach over a mountain any day! 

I've had many jobs, including being a travel agent (when that was a thing), and a 20-year career in public education. Taking a pottery class with my cousin in LA led me to seek out further classes. I have always loved creative pursuits, but there is something about working with materials of the earth that soothes the soul. I enjoy creating pots using the wheel and hand-building, and utilizing a wide variety of surface design techniques.
