Silkscreen floral mug

Screen printing is another surface design I've been experimenting with. This mug was painted with a pink underglaze, sponged with white, and then I used a Jelly Plate to silk screen the flowers on. The inside is a purple glaze, outer final glaze is a transparent pink, with a flux on the rim for contrast.

Mug is 2.5 inches tall with a 3.5 inch diameter.

Measurements are in inches and are approximate.

All products are unique, one of a kind creations. All plates, mugs, bowls, and cups are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Casserole dishes are all of the above AND oven safe. Do not put from a cold refrigerator into a hot oven to avoid cracking. Enjoy the quirks and beauty of handcrafted porcelain and stoneware!
